This self-drying soap dish is made of a 100% renewable material called diatomite (fossilized algae, hence plant-based). It's water-absorbent and quick-drying, making it ideal to place on the bathroom or kitchen counters, where water can accumulate without frequent clean-up.
The tray's finish looks similar to concrete, with drainage holes and pathways to help soap, shampoo or conditioner bars dry — and to help keep your countertops and bathtub ledges clean from residue.
Cleaning the tray is simple: Just wipe off and wipe dry from time to time. Keeping soap bars in a well ventilated area helps, too.
