Dried Sponge Mushroom Stem

Want to look like you’ve just gone foraging in the forest? These should help. The dried sponge mushrooms, dyed a rich maroon shade, add eye-catching color and texture alone in a vase, mixed into a dried arrangement or added to a dried wreath. Each mushroom is attached to a reed “stem” for easy use.

We sell sponge mushrooms by the stem. Each one will naturally vary in size, shape and shade; stems are typically 18-20 inches in length, and 4-6 inches wide.

Note: Dried plants don’t mix well with water, humidity, high heat, direct sunlight, or heavy wind. Keep your dried stems indoors and away from sunny windows. Don’t mix them with fresh plants or flowers.

If dust settles onto your plants, tidy things up with a hair dryer on its lowest, coolest setting. Keep a good distance from the stem, and lightly fan the dryer across in gentle, sweeping motions.
