Fischersund Útilykt Candle - 66°North X Fischersund
The Fischersund Útilykt scented candle is crafted with care, using recycled soy wax, an eco-friendly cotton wick and premium fragrance oils. Each candle is hand-crafted in Reykjavík and is hand-poured into a custom hand-blown glass vessel.
Útilykt features notes of ozone, moss, freshly cut grass, Siberian fir, bergamot and Arctic thyme. This scent is an interdisciplinary collaboration with 66° North, the Icelandic outdoor heritage brand. Inspired by Icelandic nature, the scent recalls the wind, the sea, the snow and fresh grass, distilling that hard-to-describe but universally familiar smell of the Icelandic outdoors.
The vision for Útilykt: Headwind in every direction. Drifting snow creeping under coat collars. Snow beads on wooly mittens. Berry-colored tongue and head resting on a pillow of moss. Lawnmower in a distant garden. An undressed Christmas tree blowing down the sidewalk in the sea breeze. Frosted windows, weather forecast, and the car heater on full blast.
Burn time: 55 hours
