Products & Sourcing
We curate brands that have a genuine point of view — clean ingredients, cruelty-free practices, and real artistry. Not mass brands, not mall brands. Brands you'd want to recommend to a friend.
Yes. If you have a question about a specific product, email us at hi@witchhazelny.com.
Many are, but not all. Some products contain components like beeswax. Check the ingredients section on individual product pages or reach out and we'll tell you directly.
We have testers of most products in our Beacon store. We just ask that you be considerate with them — try things hygienically and don't exclusively visit the shop to prep for a date.
Use the waitlist option on the product page to be notified when it's back. If you're in the shop we can take your contact info directly.
Sometimes vendors stop offering certain products. Sometimes we edit our mix to match demand and make room for something new. If we no longer carry something you loved, email us and we'll happily suggest an alternative.
Shipping & Orders
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Our processing cutoff is 12pm Eastern. Orders placed after 12pm will begin processing the following business day. We don't ship on Sundays or federal holidays. Standard shipping (usually USPS Ground Advantage) typically takes 4-7 business days total, including processing. Express shipping (usually USPS Priority Mail) typically takes 3-4 business days, including processing.
Yes — select this option at checkout. Please check our hours before you come by so we can have your order ready.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order ships.
First check your tracking number — sometimes packages are held at a pickup location or delayed in transit. If that doesn't resolve it, email us at hi@witchhazelny.com and we'll sort it out.
Email us at hi@witchhazelny.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damaged item, your order number, and a brief description. We'll make it right.
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on unused, unopened items in original packaging. We do not cover return shipping. We issue store credit or an exchange, rather than a refund to the original payment method unless the error was ours. Sale items are final sale. See our full Returns & Exchanges policy for details.
Florals & Events
Yes — we press and preserve bridal bouquets into custom hanging wall art, shadow boxes, and domes. It's one of our favorite things we do. If you're interested in preserving your bouquet, reach out at hi@witchhazelny.com before your wedding so we can discuss timing and logistics.
Yes. All of our florals are designed to order — we don't keep arrangements on hand, so each piece is made specifically for you. We deliver within approximately 20 minutes of Beacon, NY — including Newburgh, Cold Spring, Garrison, Fishkill, Hopewell Junction, Wappingers Falls, and surrounding areas — for a delivery fee. Orders outside this area can be picked up at our Beacon shop.
Classes & Workshops
Yes — pressed flower art, perfume making, and bouquet design for groups of 6 or more. Fill out our private booking form or email hi@witchhazelny.com with your preferred date and group size.

Sustainability & Giving Back
We offer the option to ship in gently-used boxes to reduce waste, and we recycle empty beauty packaging through TerraCycle — it gets turned into things like gardening tools and outdoor furniture. We also actively try to identify greenwashing when selecting brands, and prioritize partners who take their environmental commitments seriously.
Bring clean, empty beauty packaging to our Beacon store — it doesn't have to be ours. We'll recycle it through TerraCycle and give you 15% off your purchase that day.
We allocate charitable donations annually to local nonprofits that directly benefit Beacon, NY. If your organization is a registered 501(c)(3), you can submit a request through our donation form. As a small business that receives a high volume of requests, we'll only follow up if we're able to accommodate yours.
