Hudson Valley Wedding Florist

Flowers With a Point of View

Before flowers, I worked for Oribe, the hairstylist. He was known for big, perfect, supermodel hair, but he taught me a trick: You always have to mess it up a little. Tease it perfectly, then rumple it. Add something just a little bit off. Because perfect is boring, and it's incredibly forgettable.

I make flowers the same way.

Flowers in colors they aren't supposed to be. Gunmetal, beige, purple so deep it could be black. Iridescent ranunculus in shades like 'Hades.' Roses and carnations without an apology. Kangaroo paw, feather grass, tobacco blossoms, herbs stolen from the garden. And sometimes the ultimate grocery store flower, the alstroemeria, because something historically "cheap" in the middle of something "expensive" is the whole idea.

The form is classical. The palette is not.

We are not interested in perfect. We can go big, and we can make it beautiful. But we would rather make something vaguely haunted. A little off, a little wrong, and entirely unforgettable.

Weddings & Events in the Hudson Valley

We design florals for weddings, rehearsal dinners, elopements, and private events in the Hudson Valley and beyond. Every proposal is built from scratch around your venue, your season, and what you actually want — which is usually not the thing you thought you wanted when you started looking.

Think of us as an art director. We'll shape your palette, suggest design elements that hold up from every angle, and make sure the whole thing photographs the way it deserves to be remembered.

A note on pricing: The minimum is not an estimate. It's a threshold for weddings we can take on and execute at the level you deserve. Most of our couples land above the minimum, and we would rather say that now than surprise you in a proposal.

Factors that impact pricing: larger guest counts and wedding parties, intricate chuppahs and altars, installations, rare flower varieties (dramatic little divas).

Send us your venue, your guest count, and the size of your party. We'll tell you what's realistic and true to the vision before either of us invests real time in a proposal.

Venues We Know

We work all over the Hudson Valley, but these are a few places we've worked recently.

The Roundhouse reception room in Beacon, NY, with round tables set in white tablecloths, glassware, silverware, and tall greenery centerpieces. The venue has exposed wooden ceiling beams, hanging disco balls, brick walls, and warm string lights in the background.

Beacon, NY

The Roundhouse

The sliding doors at the top of the stairs are the moment. You open them, you step onto the landing above the reception floor, and the whole room looks up. We design for that reveal specifically. Outside, we know how to make flowers stand out against the lush hedges while still feeling organic to the space.

A long dining table at a Bird & Bottle Inn wedding in Garrison, NY, featuring white floral centerpieces with green foliage, white plates, folded white napkins, and clear glass candle holders.

Garrison, NY

The Bird & Bottle Inn

One of the most charming rooms in the valley. Lush textures, antique details, intricate textiles and prints. We embrace that character while making it feel distinct to you.

A moody indoor wedding at Diamond Mills Blackbarn with a stone fireplace, dark wood walls, and a round wooden table set with candles, chairs, and floral arrangements. A barrel with a tiered wedding cake stands to the left, and windows with black frames are visible on both sides.

Saugerties, NY

Diamond Mills

We cater to the warmth and textures of Blackbarn and the Boathouse. Fireplaces, rich wood, waterside views. Think nostalgic and romantic, never playing into rustic stereotypes.

Don't see your venue? We travel. Tell us where you're getting married and we'll tell you what we'd do with the space. We love translating your vision so you can enjoy the day, not worry about the details.

Custom, always

Every proposal is built around your venue, your palette, and what's in season. No packages.

We know these rooms

We've worked with the top Hudson Valley wedding venues and know what works where.

Limited weddings

We book a select number of weddings annually to make sure each gets real attention.

"Jill listened to our vision and somehow made it even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Every arrangement felt full of love, care, and creativity — it was like she knew exactly what our hearts wanted. Walking into our wedding and seeing the flowers brought us so much joy, and our guests still can’t stop talking about how stunning everything looked."

— Carly G, married at The Roundhouse

"Working with Witch Hazel was genuinely one of the best parts of planning a wedding. Jill was amazing, helping me figure out the vision, and then she completely smashed the execution! A big reason I was so excited to work with Witch Hazel was also the bouquet preservation. We were able to dry and press my bouquet, and I'm so excited to have this piece of our wedding displayed in our home."

— Anna W, married at The Roundhouse

"Where to start! We can't stop reliving the beauty that was our entire wedding day. Jill was so seamlessly easy to work with, start to finish. The way she and the rest of her team brought our vision to life was incredible."

— Christy C, married at Diamond Mills

Events & Custom Installations

We design florals for milestone celebrations, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, photo shoots, and any occasion where flowers set the tone.

We also build things that aren't strictly flowers. Sculptural installations, dried and preserved constructions, large-scale work for lobbies, storefronts, and rooms that need to be transformed rather than decorated. The wall above is fifteen feet of layered palms. If you have a space and an idea, tell us.

Every project is custom and requires advance planning. The earlier the better, especially for anything large.

For an added fee, we deliver within approximately 20 minutes of Beacon, NY, including Newburgh, Cold Spring, Garrison, Fishkill, Hopewell Junction, Wappingers Falls, and surrounding areas. Orders outside this area can be arranged for pickup at our Beacon shop.

Wedding Bouquet Preservation

We press and preserve bridal bouquets and sentimental blooms into one-of-a-kind keepsakes. Choose from custom framed wall art, dimensional shadow boxes, or domes and cloches, each one designed around your bouquet's color and shape.

Reach out before your wedding so we can talk through timing. Flowers need to come to us within a few days of your big day for the best results.
