The Body Stone is a solid, waterless moisturizer. It's solid at room temperature and softens with your body heat — you glide it over warm, dry skin and it melts in, sealing in hydration with no greasy residue.

Roughly 80% cocoa butter, blended with four plant oils — sweet almond, apricot kernel, avocado, and fractionated coconut. It's 100% plant-based, waterless, and wax-free, with no synthetics, fillers, or drying alcohols. Products are MADE SAFE certified.

Founder Kate McLeod, a former pastry chef, created the first Body Stone in her Brooklyn kitchen. Everything is still handmade from scratch — tempered, mixed, and poured by hand — at the brand's "Butter Atelier" in the Hudson Valley, near us.

Warm the Stone between your palms after a bath or shower, then glide it over dry skin and massage in the oils. A full-size Body Stone lasts about 4–6 weeks with daily use.

Yes. The packaging is plastic-free, with Starter Kits coming in a reusable bamboo canister and linen wrap. Because the formula is waterless and refillable, it cuts shipping emissions and waste compared to traditional bottled lotion.
