About Kelly + Jones
Eau de Mezcal is a collection of fragrances inspired by mezcal, the agave spirit of Mexico. Kelly + Jones developed it in Oaxaca, working directly with mezcal experts, and offers it as perfume, perfume oil, and incense.
Mezcal Negra is a smoky, woody scent with notes of Sonoran pine, black lime, guaiacwood, and spiced cajeta caramel. Mezcal Blanca is a bright, saline scent featuring peppercorn, juniper, Oaxacan sea salt, and star anise notes. Mezcal Negra feels like dusk, while Mezcal Blanca is daylight. Kelly + Jones designed them to be worn alone or layered together.
Yes. Every scent in the Eau de Mezcal collection is gender-neutral.
The perfume spray radiates and projects. The perfume oil sits close to the skin for a softer, more intimate wear. The incense scents your space rather than your body. Many people collect all three of a scent they love, or layer the oil under the spray for depth.
Yes to both. The fragrances are made with naturals, essential oils, and safe synthetics in compliance with IFRA standards, and the bottle labels are compostable stone material. A portion of every Eau de Mezcal collection sale supports Programa Vaca, which rebuilds earthquake-affected rural Mexico with sustainable architecture.
